We are bringing back this wide-ranging, informal, open-format conversation about the land and state of Israel. This year we will spend time looking at how Israeli democracy is similar to and differs from American democracy. Part of the year will focus on the specific experiences of Arab citizens of Israel. What does it mean to be in a minority group within the Jewish state? The class will also provide background preparation and follow up for those joining our synagogue trip in January/February 2023.
