Adult B’nai Mitzvah class 2025-2026
We are excited to begin a new Adult B’nai Mitzvah class this spring! This is an opportunity for adult members of our congregation, with a group of peers, to engage with our millennia-old tradition and community ritual of affirming one’s place in the Jewish community.
There will be a Hebrew learning component as well as a content study with Cantor Caro, Rabbi Holzman, and Rabbi Barrett. The culmination of this journey is set for Shabbat morning, May 23, 2026 with the class becoming B’nai Mitzvah!

Class Dates and Times
B’nai Mitzvah Classes with Clergy
The classes with the clergy will be Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00pm on the following dates:
4/2, 5/7, 6/4, a fun gathering sometime in July/August (tbd), 9/3, 10/15, 11/5, 12/3, 1/7/26, 2/4/26, 3/4/26, 4/15/26, 5/6/26.
B’nai Mitzvah Hebrew Classes
The Hebrew classes will be in two sections from April through August, to address varying levels of Hebrew. Below are the dates and times for the Hebrew classes (the dates that you attend will depend on which section you are in).
From April through August 2025, the classes will be held on the following dates:
Sunday 4/6 from 12:30 – 2:30pm and Sunday 4/27 at either 12:30pm or 1:30pm depending on which section you are in.
Wednesday 5/21 – 6:00pm or 7:00pm, depending on which section you are in.
Wednesdays (through the summer): 6/11, 6/18, 7/9, 7/16, 8/6, 8/20 – 6:00pm or 7:00pm depending on which section you are in.
From September 2025 – May 2026, we will come together for one Hebrew class on the following dates:
Wednesdays 7:00pm all together: 9/10, 9/17, 10/8, 10/29, 11/12, 12/10, 12/17, 1/14, 1/21, 2/11, 2/18, 3/11, 3/18, 4/8, 4/29, 5/13, 5/20.
