The festival of Shavuot commemorates our receiving of the Torah on Mount Sinai. Our tradition teaches that when the Torah was given, all Jews, from all generations were standing at Sinai, ready.

6:00pm – Bagel & lox dinner
7:00pm – Service, including Yizkor, a dramatic re-enactment of the 10 Commandments, and unrolling of the Torah
8:15pm – Oneg, featuring multiple flavors of cheesecake! (BYOL – bring your own Lactaid)
8:30pm – Study, including a teaching on the history of cheesecake and its connection to Shavuot
