Last year, NVHC hosted two extremely popular and well attended educational sessions on genealogy. Based on the feedback from those two sessions, we are happy to announce round two!
On Sunday, March 7 at 7:00 pm we will host “Genealogy as a DNA Tool,” during which we will hear from members of NVHC about how DNA tracing tools, such as 23 and Me, and genealogy can inform each other and help us uncover more of our family history.
This event will be followed on Thursday, March 11 at 7:00 pm by “You Have Developed a Family History – Now What?” Two members of NVHC will talk about the research they’ve done into their family histories, and then we will hear from guest speaker Sarah Wexler of the Genealogy Society of Greater Washington about her work in the field.
We hope to see you at one or both of these great events!
