COVID-19 has presented numerous challenges to the Jewish world — central among them, how do we conduct a meaningful Jewish life when we cannot be physically together? We will explore Responsa (Jewish legal questions and answers) that respond to these challenges: Does Jewish law require people to be vaccinated? Does a Zoom Shofar blowing fulfill the mitzvah of hearing the Shofar on Rosh Hashanah? How should a hospital determine who gets treated first if available treatments are limited? We will look at these and other pandemic-related questions.
