Saturday morning, as part of Shabbat Sustenance, Rabbi Nir will be teaching from Chaim Nahman Bialik’s famous essay Halachah and Aggadah. This essay is a cornerstone of a modern understanding of Jewish text both for Israelis in the land of Israel and for Diaspora Jews adapting Jewish tradition to contemporary life. The text was originally in Hebrew and we will be using an English translation.
