NVHC is an egalitarian Reform synagogue that celebrates tradition while making Judaism relevant in today's busy Northern Virginia lives.
We are a vibrant and growing congregation offering a wide array of worship, educational, social justice, cultural and fellowship opportunities for congregants of all ages.
As a Reform Jewish community, NVHC is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism, the national organization of the Reform Movement.
At NVHC, we are especially proud of our strong sense of caring and community as well as our deep commitment to learning and tikkun olam - repairing the world. Above all, we value the diversity of our 470 member households, welcoming Jews from all backgrounds and embracing interfaith couples who desire to become part of a Jewish community.
