Ladders of Learning

Earn recognition for your sustained commitment to Jewish learning. Basic Level - 25 hours of study
Foundation Level - 50 hours of study
Keva Level - 100 hours of study*
 

Participants will receive the following:
* Learning Log to record learning activities
* Connections with other adult learners
* Support and mentoring to help you achieve your goals
* Recognition of sustained effort

 *Keva scholars will receive a Certificate of Recognition for the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ).  When at least 10% of our adult members reach the Keva level, NVHC will receive a Talmud Torah citation from URJ. 

Hours may be earned in any NVHC Lifelong Learning program including all classes, Torah talk, film series, speaker series, scholar-in-residence, and book club.  See catalog for complete listing of all current Lifelong Learning programs.  Participants will maintain their own learning logs by recording time spent in study.  Upon reaching the required hours for each level, students will receive formal recognition from the congregation.  There is no time limit for accumulating hours.
